Source-based Questions
Q1a) Source A is a photograph from the guardian archive which gives information about what is going on during Bloody Sunday and the hectic life during the presence of Bloody Sunday. Besides providing information about Bloody Sunday, it also tries to show us the consequences. Source D is a supportive account of not using violence to solve problems as the source say “…violence is the only way you’re gonna solve things, which is stupid.”

Moreover, both the sources have an idea that rioting will worsen the conflict.
Therefore, this source is reliable.

Q1b) There is a difference in content with Source B stating that Protestant deadly wanted to return to United Kingdom because they felt happy and secure if the were to be in United Kingdom as the source say " We postively want to be a part of the United Kingdom...for positive reason that we do have a feeling of belonging; we feel we are identified by a common thnic background; ...we feel united in terms of our common history..".

On the other hand, Source C shows me that the ununited country is bothered by religion problems and shows us their method of influencing the young by spreading the hatred between one religion and another religion as the source say "religion is the thing that divides us" and " Hopefully our kids will keep their friendship with each other when they go back and will pass along the idea that to hate someone, not associate with them because they're a different denomination, is a bit silly".

The most important difference is in tone - Source B has a persuassive tone about how good United Kingdom is to them. Whereas source c has an extreme strong tone determined that religion should not be dividing them and yet determined to say fight for their own religion by using the young ones to influence others that they are always right.

Q1c) Source A suggest to me that the riots was between the rioters and the soldiers as the source say "Rioters on Bloody Sunday throwing stones at soldiers". This does not give me a conclusion that it involve the potestants and catholics. Therefore source A do not suggest that they were on bad terms.

Source B suggest to me that protestants were loyal and love to be part of the United Kingdom as the sourse say " We positively want to be part of the United Kingdom, not in the negative sense that we fear a united Ireland, but for the positive reason thatwe do have a feeling of belonging;we feel we are identified by a common ethnic background;...we feel united in terms of our common history..." This source does not suggest to me that the catholics was involved in this upbringing, hence i concluded that the protestants and catholics are not in bad terms.

Source D suggest to me that both the protestants and catholics were in involved in fights to get things solve as the source say " People who are older than us think that.." and ...violence is the only way you're gonna solve things".

On the other hand, source C suggest to me that in their country, their religion was their divided at that point of them as the source say " ...religion is the thing that divides us". Source C gave a strong impact of hatred between religion as the source say " Hopefully our kids will keep their friendship with each other when they go back and wil pass along the idea that to hate someone, not associate with them because they're a different denomination,is a silly".

In conclusion, only source C suggest that Protestants and Catholics are on bad terms.
